Bokura is based on a romance manga. It was converted into a 26 episode major TV anime series. The story is of a boy whose girlfriend dies in an accident in a car. Also his mother commits suicide so he runs away, but this girl finds him after many years. OK, not the usual romcom. This one about a boy who loses his mom.
