Is Steve Jobs dying of cancer?

I know he does not do anime, but as head of Pixar he created amazing cartoons such as cars. It seems that Steve Jobs health is declining rapidly. This might be the reason he is now doing the Macworld show. We can hope and pray that he recovers from his cancer.

Full Moon o Sagashite

Few anime have been written that are as sad as Full Moon. It is the story of a girl who is a singer who has a throat tumor so she cannot sing. Two magical creatures help her transform into a sixteen year old girl, but she has only one year to live. I think that Full Moon o Sagashite reminds me of another moe anime known as Fancy Lala.

In many anime I see this view of Japan a lot, think of the ending of the max moe anime known as "Angelic Layer" with the robot dolls. This is the real, not REEL image of Japan.

Kagihime Monogatari Eikyū Alice Rondo

A new max moe anime is Kagihime Monogatari Eikyū Alice Rondo. This is like light heart rozen maiden. Not as dark and sad, more moe. It is based on Alice in the Wonderland. The games is to find all the stories written by Lewis Carroll. A group of bunny girl compete to get all the stories of an Endless Alice.

Caught Red Handed?

Many people were caught RED HANDED downloading anime from a torren. Their ISP may deny them access to the web. I prefer to get my anime from youtube. The day all people who go on youtube are arrested it will be one crowded jail.

The future of anime music is that we will see more signer/seiyuu as heros. This will in turn create more exciting times for anime music as people start using singer/seiyuu for voice work using synchrospeakers.

World of anime

Why is the world do we have that science fiction cliche that aliens are evil, that computers are evil, that giant robots are evil? Well, in anime we have robots that are good like Chii, giant robots like Hikaru that are good, and it makes more sense that way.

Hating that which is different is a foolish emotion.

Living inside cartoon or TV show

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to live inside a cartoon (cool world) or a TV show (Pleasantville). Well in the Pleasantville Trivia Contest there is a boy and his sister who are transported via a magic remote control into their television set. They are transformed into B&W people in an old 50's sitcom.

They live in a very monochromatic world where the characters are very two dimensional. This would make a most excellent max moe anime. I mean, living in a TV show, would be max rad. Also the concept of time travel to the 50's. People would be loving it.

Konata

If it could be describe in one word, moe, I mean - that word would be Konata. So all you lucky star fans, enjoy your anime. Make sure that you see it on you tube.

Shakugan

Shakugan no Shana is a max moe anime about a boy who is saved by a girl with flaming red eyes. Shakugan takes place in a high school in Tokyo and follows the life of the boy as he learns about an unseen realm. It is not as kawaii as many other anime, but has a special feel to it.

Searching for the most max moe anime

OK, so we are searching for the most max moe anime in the whole world. I want more moe than Potemayo. It more make even a harden otaku cringe.

Rizelmine

Here is the max moe anime known as Rizelmine. These series is so moe that it is produced by MOE studios, also known as one and only - Masters of Entertainment.

It is about a 15 year old boy and a 12 year old clone girl that is supposed to be the world's best wife. You will laugh and cry. It is a funny romantic comedy.

Kamichu

A very good anime is Kamichu. It is a story of a girl who is actually a goddess. Kamichu has powers and grants wishes. The series is not very moe, but it is a cute little anime that has a lot of heart.

Why no anime in NYC?

They always seem to take place in Tokyo. I want an anime series that is centered on the capital of the world, where the UN building is. NYC anime, yes it sounds great. Why not?

Pime Taradox

Pime Taradox, I mean Time Paradox, is what we have in episode twelve of Card Captor Sakura. Yes the time card must be obtained, you see Sakura is in a time loop. Ep 12 of CCS is max moe anime that is most XLent.

Chobits

Chii from the max moe anime Chobits is very moe. The cute little robot is a companion for Hideki. A high school student studying to get into college. It reminds me of CarlosX Robot Repirman in 2052.

Well, one of the most max moe anime characters was Disney's robot WALL-E and his gal pal EVE. What if there was a real WALL-E, well say no more - there is.

Most max moe anime have an element of fantasy in it, like magical sidekicks such as Kero in Card Captor Sakura, or Arcs in Moetan. However, time travel is also present in most max moe anime, not just the two mentioned, but also Fancy Lala had movement in the forth dimension.

Imagine if you found out that time machines are available here and now. A man called Steven Gibbs created a time machine called Hyper Dimensional Resonator.

Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight

One of my favorite max moe anime is Gakuen Utopia Manabi Straight! This anime takes place in the future and it has in it a hoverboard like the one in Back to the Future II. Check this anime series out.

Chobits

Chobits is a story about a high school student called Hideki who falls in love with a pretty robot girl called Chii. This futuristic scifi anime is max moe. The girl Chii is like an innocent who must learn about the world.

I am always looking out for new moe anime. Today I have two new anime, but they are not very moe. They are Guardian Angel Getten which is similar to "I dream of Jeannie" except not as much fun, and the other is Fancy Lala. Perhaps the second is a tiny bit moe anime because there are two small dinosaurs that are chibi characters. Think Kero from Card Captor Sakura. Still, the series is far from being moe.

That said I feel Fancy Lala is a sweet show that will appeal to young girls. It is about a magical girl that uses her powers to become a movie actress. A nice little show.

Akazukin

Also known as Fairy Musketeers has great story and the main character Akazukin AKA little Red Riding Hood is so Kawaii, as in uber cute. She is max moe!

Yotsubato

Yotsubato is about a five year old green haired adopted girl - Yotsuba. Everything in the series is max moe, in fact the little girl is one of the most moe characters ever.

The series was created by by Kiyohiko Azuma, who is famous for Azumanga Daioh. In fact, in one scene is a Chiyo plush doll. This heart warming comedy is the most max moe anime ever.

Time Travel in anime

Most max moe anime have certain elements like the girl with glasses, the chibi comic characters, the ahoge, the evil twin sister. Time travel is a staple of science fiction, but it is also found in moe anime. For example, in Card Captor Sakura, the title character, Sakura uses her time card to get back and see her dead mother.

Astral Time Travel is a mystery where people can voyage to other realms and see both the future and the past. This makes the story more dark and curious. Perhaps a bit more goth and scary.

otogi jushi akazukin

It appears that one of the most max moe anime is otogi jushi akazukin or Fairy Musketeers.
The main character Akazukin is ubercute and hyperkawaii. She looks like a warrior fairy.

School Rumble

This is an example of an anime that is NOT moe. In contrast, Lucky Star is a max moe anime. We find that School Rumble is more normal and less emo that a moe anime. Perhaps it feels more real, because a moe anime is more fantasy with such staples as migical girls and small chibi characters.

Pretty Cure

While the two main characters in the series called Pretty Cure and not moe; however, we see that there are two cell phone like creatures called Mippo & Meppo that are very Kawaii and max moe. It is a sweet wonderful show. In the first few episodes of this max moe anime there is a bad guy that looks like a rocker from kiss the rock group.

Aishiteruze Baby

One very moe anime is Aishiteruze Baby. This one is about a man who takes care of a five year old girl. I feel the story is a bit sad. Found that some people like it, but I feel it is too "real" for me.

Sumomo

The main Character of Nanatsuiro Drops is known as sumomo. She is very kawaii and sweet like candy. In fact, the whole series is a candy color confection. I like the parallel with CCS. For example the main character is a magical girl like card captor sakura and the doll Yuki-chan is close to Kero-chan as the chibi character.

Much like sakura has tomoyo, our girl sumomo has a close friend in Nako. Also, both girls lost their mothers at a young age.

Nanatsuiro Drops

One of the most max moe anime is Nanatsuiro Drops. The main character known as sumomo is Kawaii to the max. She is so sweet that it is like candy.

It is very similar to the verymax moe Card Captor Sakura, except that instead of finding cards they look for drops. The drops look like falling stars. Magical girl sumomo is the main character and she is like a super sweet sister of Sakura. The series is very happy, except that sumomo like to cry a lot.

That said, sumomo is a very max moe character and her doll Yuki is uber cute, so Kawaii. It reminds me of Kero from Card Captor Sakura. A happy anime that is max moe.

Potemayo anime

One of the most moe anime is Potemayo. It is a bout a small alien creature that appears in a boy's refrigerator. This small doll like critter is kawaii.

One of the most max moe anime is Potemayo. It is about a boy who finds a strange alien doll like creature inside his refrigerator. He calls her Potemayo after a combination of potatoe and Mayo niase. The boy called Sunao takes the cute little critter to school with him and she rides on his head.

Petopetosan

This is a max moe anime about a school in Japan where monsters and people live together and go to school. Some people like the monsters, but other are racist and hate them. Petopetosan anime seems like a love your neighbor message film to teach kids to accept others.

BTW, in Italy the word "PETO" means fart, and in Mexico, the main characters name "tchingo" means the F word.

Azumanga Daioh Anime

Some say that Azumanga Daioh Anime is moe, but it does not feel that way; well, perhaps Chiyo is a bit childish, but she is a child after all. The other students are not moe at all. The cuteness factor is a lot less and it has more of a gritty feel.

However, Azumanga Daioh is not realistic. The girls do not talk about boyfriends or jobs. In fact, none of them has a job. Most girls get a job babysitting at 10 or 11 and by the time they are twelve they have a bit of money to buy things like a cell phone and cute clothes.

These girls are 17 and 18 and the act like elementary. They do not talk about boyfriends or problems with parents or even a bad boss. The episodes deal with the same gag over and over, like a girl that pets cats and gets bitten, or a girl who can't swim, or a girl who screams when she sees a bug in class.

In contrast the anime Lucky star has its main character Konata lament that she does not have a boyfriend and talk about getting a new job at a cosplay cafe making it feel real. Azumanga is phony with a 70's mindset. Where are the cellphones in Azumanga?

Sorry guys, but this is not elementary school, baking cookies is a 5th grade activity, a girl in 11th grade is more worried about if she can buy a car and how to afford insurance. A typical topic of conversation is how she got grounded for coming home at 3am.

In the hunt for the next cool thing, we are looking at new animes. Don't be afraid to be the first on your block that listens to new music or watches on youtube new manga. As always Japan leads the way for this alpha puppy. It is the land of all things coooool anf kawaii!

That is why moe anime adds to the joy of life. It reminds us of silly happy moments from our childhood when we dreamed big dreams and were filled with a sense of wonder.
