Hoshi No Koe - voices of a distant star is a very unmoe anime that is a romantic love story in our future. People still use cell phones and one girl calls her boyfriend over the vast interstellar distance. It has war and mecha, but lacks a basic common humanity that makes it feel a bit lonely.
