Eve no Jikan is an anime about a world populated by androids due to a low birth rate among earth humans. In the future it shows that the robots that started out as slaves are now seen as ordinary appliances like an old washing machine. The cold metal machines are not fully human, but instead soulless robots. Eve no Jikan deals with what it means to be human.
