Nekomimi means "cat ears" and refers to cat girl that seem to dominate manga. Also, to some extent in anime as well. For example, Koboshi in Pita Ten is a nekomimi. She has cat ears and acts a bit catty at time. Sadly, she does not end sentences with nya.
